Polycarbonate sheet is hard/tough, often described as shatterproof & lighter alternative to glass. It is up to 250 times stronger than glass and although it is tough, it can be bent, folded or shaped to size and as it is shatterproof it is easy to drill without it cracking, which also makes it a much better option to Acrylic.

Clear Polycarbonate is often used as windows, skylights, greenhouses, bus shelters and smoking shelters as it has high resistance to UV light, which can discolour other plastics.

Due to the material being strong but clear, it is often used as machine guards, allowing the user to see through but as it has a high impact resistance.

Polycarb can be folded, starting from £5 per fold.
