Our Aluminium Treadplate Angles are folded from 1.5mm or 2mm thick material.

These are available in both external and internal corners.

Internal angles mean the pattern is on the inside of the fold.

External angles mean the pattern is on the outside of the fold.

Chequer plate angles are often used as protection against light or heavy machinery.

These are made from grade 5754 which is strong, light and resistant to corrosion making them perfect for indoor or outdoor use.

Being made from a 5000 series aluminium makes them ideal for use in marine conditions.

The angles are items that have been supplied to supermarkets to protect from damage from shopping trolleys.

Gyms also have used them to protect wall from the weights.

Mill finish. This is an ‘unfinished’ product, which means there has been no post-manufacturing surface treatment and is simply the bare metal. You may find some light scratching caused by general warehousing and transport but there should be no deep gouges or deformation. If aesthetics is important in your end application, you may want to consider a finishing process such as painting, polishing or anodising.
