More Information

We stock Aluminium Angle in mill finish; however, we can get the materials polished, powder coated and anodized.

Aluminium Angles are measured on the external of each leg and then by the thickness of the section, as we offer both equal and unequal angles, they can differ eg. 1” x 1” x 1/8” or 1” x ½” x 1/8”.

Aluminium Angles are often used on window frames, doors and in shopfitting, however, due it’s weight versus strength ratio the larger sections are often used for more structural purposes such as horse boxes, vehicle bodies and signage. The other element of Aluminium that makes it good for these purposes is being a non-ferrous metal/alloy, it doesn’t rust or corrode in wet weather conditions.

To learn more about the grade of your chosen size, please see our grade/specification page. This information should help if you intend to carry out general fabrication work such as machining, forming and welding.

Mill finish. This is an ‘unfinished’ product, which means there has been no post-manufacturing surface treatment and is simply the bare metal. You may find some light scratching caused by general warehousing and transport but there should be no deep gouges or deformation. If aesthetics is important in your end application, you may want to consider a finishing process such as painting, polishing or anodising.

You can choose sizes online up to 3m, but we do carry this product in lengths of up to 5 metres. These are not advertised online due to delivery implications. If you do require longer lengths however, we may be able to accommodate so please do get in touch.
